This unique new building provides a place for arts, culture, physical activity, learning and creativity at the heart of the community.
 
This partnership facility is an exciting blend of services and venues for the local community and indeed the wider East End of the City.  The building forms a link between the facilities of JohnWheatleyCollege especially its library and the café, swimming pool and Platform – a new arts facility housing the National Theatre of Scotland and local dance company Visual Statement.
 
Platform provides greater access to the arts for local people through a varied programme featuring theatre, music and the visual arts.  Facilities include a 200 seat auditorium, studio theatre, recording studios and other adaptable meeting spaces.
