Welcome to the South West Home Page

Welcome to the South West Area mini-site.  Please browse through our pages to find out more about how community planning is being delivered across the South West of the city.

Community Planning in Glasgow has been structured around five administrative areas, each serving two of the ten local partnerships.  The  South West Area covers the two Local Community Planning Partnerships of  Govan & Craigton and Greater Pollok & Newlands / Auldburn , and is home to over 115,000 residents.   To find out more about the local area boundaries for the South West as a whole and the local partnerships within the area, you can view the maps by clicking on the shaded sections of the City map on the right of the screen.

The work of the two local Partnerships and the support body Glasgow Community Planning Ltd is explained in more detail within this mini site. Please spend some time exploring these pages to find out more about what we do.

We are keen to engage with local residents and partner bodies within the South West area to tackle deprivation and to improve services.  You can keep in touch with us by using the Contact Us part of the site.
