Welcome to the East Area Home Page

Welcome to the home page of the East Area mini-site. Please browse through our pages to find out more about how community planning is being delivered across the East of the city.

The East Area covers the two Local Community Planning Partnerships of East Centre & Calton and Baillieston, Shettleston & Greater Easterhouse, and is home to 124,000 residents. Please view the 'local area maps' to learn more about the local area.

The work of the two local Partnerships and the support body Glasgow Community Planning Ltd are explained in more detail within this mini site. Please spend some time to explore these pages. We are keen to engage with both local residents and partner bodies within the East area to

  • improve public services
  • promote partnership working
  • encourage community engagement, and
  • coordinate regeneration and tackle deprivation

Please keep in touch with us by going to the contact us part of the site.
